New Member- 2013 with R&G no cut frame slider issue

Hey guys,

I have a 2013 that I bought last year. I was prepping her for a track day yesterday and when trying to install the R&G no cut frame sliders I came across an issue. I couldn't remove the spacer for the right side engine bolt. The instructions say I have to remove it to place the adapter, but I can't budge the spacer to remove it.

Anyone come across this issue?

Thanks for the help!

Sounds like something might be bent. Is there any evidence that the bike has been down on that side?

This is "WHY" you don't use No Cut Sliders

I don't think it's anything bent, it's more that the silver spacer is stuck. The engine bolt came out easily but I'm not sure what the spacer is stuck on. Bike has been in two low speed low-sides but only fairing issues, never had any frame damage.

Thanks!

That's my point exactly. That spacer sits in a sleeve in the frame and is free to move even when the bolt is tightened. If it won't come out then something is out of alignment.
I have to agree that "no-cut" sliders are worse than useless, but that wasn't the question.
