The 2017 stock is a dog. Too much cafe and euro4 restrictions.
Sent the ecu / ignition / key / cluster to BrenTuning and they have sent me to Heaven! Can't say enough good things about the change to the Beast!
    EXCEPT, ready for it?
The brakes! Yeah they work, but the lever travel is ridiculous! I can pull the lever a couple cm's before the brake light and brakes start function, can you believe it? Touch the lever with one finger on Lolita and your slowing immediately, two fingers and make sure your knees are tight. Yes it's stock.
I'm in the process of trying to sort it out. I've flushed the fluid and just received a gs-911 and will try cycling the abs pump and flushing the entire system front and back while cycling the pump repetitively. Hope I can make the brakes work as well as the rest of this incredible machine.
If any of you good folk have experience with this and an answer, please hit me up!

Hello Y'All Guess the site has changed a bit. I joined back in 2012 but am considered a new member; just riding and don't seem to find time to post...
And apologies to those who tried to reach me.
Let's see if I can bring you up to date.
Lost my '12 to too much enthusiasm on the track ( read: that last lap was a 1:13, bet I can do the next in 1:12 BaddaBing BaddaBOOM! )
CSS was kind enough to sell me an instructor's bike - 2015 red/black "Lolita" and we stormed the desert for 3 years and 30K miles. Fabulous Machine! would hold redline as long as you dared. First bike to go over 190 for me. But the call of a NEW (well, almost 3000 miles I consider any BMW under 10,000 miles new), 2017 Motosport color RR deluxe with full Akrapovic and Black Puig "touring" windscreen and the promise of updated electronics stirred my libido!
A great deal! A sorrowful goodbye! And buyers remorse!
    end part 1

I must say you have great riding form. When I looked at your posting under Versatile Ride 09-20-2013 I though you too are an experience rider. Sure enough in your canyon photo of Cedar I was sure. I hope that I can get to the form you have attained. The photo with your fingers outstretched in the corner is priceless. I am an older rider who is constantly asked why I have a young kids motorcycle? " Still in my childhood and hope I never grow up".
