Hi there benny max; can you tell me if there's anything special about Battery Tenders for the S1000RR.

I have my eye on the OptiMATE 4 Charger - CAN-bus edition costing $100.

But would most other "smart chargers" do as good a job with the OEM battery?

I am looking for wiring diagram and pin locations to test what you suggested, but cant find it anywhere. Forum search produced nothing. Just a big mystery I guess when it comes to wiring diagram. do you happen to have it or know where I can find it? Repair software doesn't have it, as you know. Or the color of the wires maybe? Hi, for what its worth I thought I tell you Shaun from Southbank phoned today after seeing something I posted on a 'MelbourneBMWmotorcycles' Facebook page . . . . . he wanted to clear up my misunderstandings. Shaun wasn't interested in hearing about #83300413585 Plug, and he told me he wasn't interested in calling my mobile to discuss a problems fitting a radiator grill during the service because , 'nothing I could have said would have changes the outcome'.

Needless to say I've burnt my bridges there.

The bike gets its first annual service at Southbank and they fit a pair of frame sliders and an oil guard that I supplied and charge $550 for the job.
That's not good value for money IMHO.

What is the most amount of miles anyone has gotten or heard of someone getting out of their S1000RR motors before they needed to be replaced. I’m just trying to figure out the longevity of this bike. My ‘92 CBR has 240k when I sold it... BMW is much better quality. It should last just as long right?

I was looking into getting a bit more detail on the ECu unlock for a 2015 RR. I've seen a few posts but never saw any technical data that mentioned the actual performance chance. I was curious if you knew where to find or if you know where I can stumble across this. Also, if you happen to know if the RCK is the same thing as the HP power kit upgrade. I've seen some confusion when referencing both, with no real clarification. To my understanding, the RCK is just something to tune with as opposed to the HP power kit is an actual unlock to the ECU.

My friend is helping me install an alarm and has asked me to get him the wiring diagram for the bike. I have been searching everywhere and can't find one. Do you know where i can get this information?

Chris here. I'm inquiring about the HP rearsets listed in the parts classifieds:

1) Are they still for sale?
2) Does the right side have the "ring" to secure the standard muffler? (I can't tell from the photo)
3) I assume that theses will fit a MY13 S1000rr... right?
4) If you answered "yes" to the above, will you take $400?
