Leaving aside I have never had a problem with a dealer properly changing the oil on a car or bike (yes, I know some have - go to a different dealer if they cannot change oil), many of us change our own oil. It is trivially easy, cheaper, and much quicker.

It makes sense if dealership is doing the service. But why not check bike at the the dealership (let it idle to temp, quick gear changes around). If you paid them to do service, they need to do it right. Take it back, have them take out excess oil.

Or just don't go there again. I would not. I met many clueless dealership mechanics.

Agreed. I hate to think dealer overfilling is so common customers need to be prepared to routinely deal with it - regardless of the method of resolving the problem.
