I have this cycle guys tail bag $65 from Amazon. It uses elastic material that grabs the whole seat. Plus two velcro straps for added security. It zips when unused or to put something flat like a phone. And when fully expanded it can fit enough Thai food for 4 people (max I fit in it and rode for 15min). Here is a couple of pics:

Hey @z00, I had the Cycle Guys tail bag on my Street Triple. I called it the Chicken Carrier, because it was just the right size for a Costco roasted chicken. Very convenient, much preferable to shoving it in my R30 backpack. The one you have is a little pointier to the back, perhaps a bit smaller capacity, and I wonder if it will still can be used for the aforementioned noble purpose.
