I would be interested too.

Can you write a review.

Thx

Not sure why this can't be answered directly on here. It's a ride height sensor for the DDC. It allows independent comp and rebound adjustment. HP4 comes with a sensor on the shock but not the fork. It may do some other stuff, but most HP4 owners install it for front comp and rebound adjustment.

Not sure if it will be the same on the 2015 with DDC.

LVBrokr 12-27-2014 02:11 AM

Thanks SRO. Sounds like its for the HP4 only.

Yes sir. Anyone without a DDC would be wasting money.

Will this fit on the 2015 DDC model (or will it even be necessary)?

Yes it will fit and work on a 2015 model equipped with DDC. As far as being necessary would come down to rider preference and use of the bike.

If you want to have the ability to adjust your rebound and compression individually on the front forks then yes it would be necessary.

If the bike is going to be used at the track then I would say yes 100% it would be necessary on the bike.

Any other questions you may have feel free to email me @ [email protected]

I look forward to hearing from you.

Brad

Are you 100% on that Brad. No one has had the opportunity to play with a 15 yet to see if there are any hardware differences

bane 02-03-2015 03:25 PM

how much are you guys charging for the abs pro? i purchased a leftover 2014 hp4 from a nyc dealer and they aren't moving on the price to retrofit it...

Piper 02-12-2015 08:29 AM

On the 2015, when the 2d sensor is fitted does a comp setting show up in the menu automatically? Or is an ecu change needed?

Also anyone confirmed the 2d sensor part number for 2015 machines?

chopt 02-12-2015 11:53 AM

THE ECM will automatically recognize the part install giving you C and R adjustment in your menu.

like a tasteycake all rolled into one!

I thought the 2D sensor was built in on the 2015s but it is not.

I did install one on my HP4. seems to work and it is plug and play. need to keep an eye on it because it is somewhat delicate looking. As I understand if you get a 2015 with DDC the 2D sensor is extra and there are more selections for adjustments over the HP4.

As far as we can tell, the 2d sensor is still available for purchase separately for the 2015 models, but that may not denote that the 2015 does not come equipped with it. Sorry about the delayed response, but Brad isn't here anymore and I'm playing catch up. Still learning the ins and outs of the new bike, but I'll try to get a definitive answer and post up as soon as I know for sure.

I've looked through the menus on my 15. Comp/Rebound on the front aren't independent so no sensor.

What does the manual say? HP4 Manual state this is available only when optional sensor is installed.

I can't seem to locate an electronic manual for 2015.

Cool.

See page 77. It does not come with sensor installed.

Edit: can't upload clear pick of page 77.

Someone sent me a PM asking for a picture so I figured there might be more of you out there who might want to take a look at the kit.
