2020 Bluetooth choppy music.

Hi Folks.

I'm having connectivity issue with the Bluetooth on my 2020. I can get it to play music just fine but it stutters quite badly. It seems to get better if I put my head nearer the dash. (I assume the antenna is in there). I'm using a Pixel 3 and a Sena 20s to connect. I followed the instruction of pairing the phone and then the headset. I unpaired the phone and the headset. Any tips for getting it to work smoothly.

Keep your phone closer to your helmet. I put mine on my jacket chest pocket instead of my jean pocket.

I don't use the media/nav controls since I'm normally in ride pro modes. I just pair my Sena to my phone and leave the bike out of the equation. Was cute for the first week or so.

I got like 75,000 miles with it working flawlessly in my pocket to my helmet! Seems like the bluetooth connection is weak to from the TFT display.

I've had the same issue with my Sena S10 something or other when pairing to multiple devices like the S1000RR or the Garmin GPS on my 1200RS. I chalked it up to weak processing power of the Sena but never cared enough to really troubleshoot.

This was discussed a couple weeks ago in this thread. The general consensus was the antenna for BT was in the TFT/Dash area and signal is quite weak. As was mentioned try moving your phone to your chest jacket pocket or getting a mount for your phone and keeping it up on the triple tree.

Is the phone paired to the TFT and the headset, or just the TFT? IIRC the stock advice is to pair both the phone and the headset to the TFT, but not directly to each other - some bluetooth devices struggle to maintain 2 simultaneous connections.
