[2020] TWM Carbon Fiber Gas Cap Install

Hey Guys!

I just made a quick video to show how easy it is to install one of these. If you are a track junkie like myself this is a must have!

I agree, good video. I would make just 1 suggestion to bung the hole when removing and adding screws/spacers, don't want to drop one of those fiddly suckers in the tank.

Agreed, I'd like one, but I'm too paranoid. I use my bike to commute and run errands (in addition to canyon riding and whatnot), so it's in public often. I'm sure it'd be fine, but (for myself) the convenience of it just seems to be outweighed by the "risk." I say risk with quotes because in reality, it's probably highly unlikely that anyone does something malicious.

Great video OP! Thanks for the quick and informative DiY. I'll reference this if I ever grow some balls.

I wish it got rid of the damn red tube, I bought it, figuring it was like my light tech one on my 15, that replaced the entire assembly.. nope.. hate that red tube thing

It only takes one jealous person to commit to something that malicious. Ill keep using my key for now. Its a small inconvenience.

If you want to fill it faster just take the red tube out and cut it shorter. There's even a mark on it where to cut. But after that don't fill the tank and park the bike, you will get some overflow.
