I think they made the engine with racing in mind as you can see they ran the engine just with an exhaust system in the first races of the World Super Bike championship. Then they must have designed the different systems to make them legal in countries.

I think they should at least sell Euro models in one state in the US that allows similar regulations. Donít know if this is possible?

Feel sorry for US riders. On the same in the US a let modify their bikes and have no issues at all with authorities. Here I mod then Iím done no license.

The reg are federal via the EPA.

Then worst case there will be a market for euro ecuís into the US.
Hope it wonít be a black market hehe

For what it's worth, a top BMW corporate employee made the identical statement to my face. I just looked at them and said that I'd have to be a fool to make the mods to a brand new $25k bike with nothing but a verbal assurance.
Not going to happen.
No tune. No sale.
Worked for me :shrug:

Full yoshimura exhaust, Race ECU unlock, RCK3 unlock. Everything else is stock. Warranty covered the damages. And before you ask, no I am not associated with any dealership.

I did laugh at "One would have to have more money than sense" comment considering a lot of people buy $25k bikes that they can't afford...
