That's just not true. Can't find my original post but:

“They don’t pay me enough to ride that thing”

Dirt or pavement there are limits to usable HP. Don't remember the year, it was in the last 5. Marquez had issues with the Honda's power. Crank was too light? The way the power comes in is just as important as max HP. My 2 cents.

Just because you buy a shiny new K67 does not mean it comes with the talent needed to appreciate the extra HP and Torque. It will always look good on paper at least to those that do not ride the K67 to its fullest potential.

Hence the grin, but thanks for the fact-check

Just ordered an M Sport today but forgot to ask one thing and the thread search isn't working for some reason.

What tyres come on this model? Seen new pics with SC SP, RR K3s and even Michelins. Test vids seem to point toward the new S22s. Any solid info?

The 2019/20 traveling around North America had Metzeler tires. The photo that someone posted claiming it was 'their' K67 being built on the assembly line had Metzeler tires on it too, and the only VIN numbers I have seen being built at this time are Europe destination coding. So, my guess is that Metzeler tires are currently being used on current production.

The K67's at Estoril press release were on Bridgestone but my guess on this reason was that slicks were supposed to go on the bikes too for some of the press to ride on and most likely BMW had to pick a tire support from someone that could show up and do Street, Rain, and Slicks so Bridgestone was selected for the support.

Part number on the tire is 25257 which is Metzeler Racetec RR 120/70 ZR17 M/C (58W)K3

BMW 388, how do you know that only European bikes are being built? Do you somehow have access to their system and can review VINS? Curious minds want to know. Thanks.

Probably the same way I can check - I just ask the dealer to sign in to their allocation system and you can see what's being built and what the (incomplete) plan is going forward. If you're good friends with your dealer then you can do it too.

Thanks for the info. That is interesting that the dealer is able to get that much information from BMW. I learned something new today.

As i know the alloy wheels will get Bridgestone forged and carbon will get the metzeler k3 my 2017 came with metzeler k3 and had forged wheels plus the size of tire on the forged and carbon diffrent from alloy
