The February Chicago show is where my dealer is going to find out when the RR will be available. Anxious to see if I'll be riding BMW again.

It doesn't exclude it, either. Again, mods do not void your warranty against manufactured defects -- saying otherwise fails logic when you start to see how certain warranty claims may have no correlation to another part (that may be modified).

"People often say they have been told that if they modify their car, their entire warranty will be voided. That is never the case. But the warranty on a particular part or system damaged by your modification might be denied."

Again...they need to prove, under law, your part interfered with or caused the damage, and not a manufacturing defect. Proving that in a lot of cases is more hassle to a company than doing/honoring the warranty work.

This may be a case of where the law hasn't caught up to technology, but it's in the consumers favor right now and as far as I see it should remain that way.

I chose the red font to express my RAGE over the fact BMW hasn't unveiled an all black 2020 S1k.

The first 2 colour offerings are much more attractive than the third.
