It's done

Going Friday in SoCal to pickup 2017 tri color premium with forged wheels, yee haw. Finally did it!! Been riding 09 Hayabusa for years. I'll have to lower the pegs and raise the handlebars though, as I am 61 years old and need the assistance

Awesome! I have the '17 Motorsport, and you WILL NOT be disappointed. This bike is smooooooth....

Hey...I'm 70. I put Heli bars on it...that's all. I ride 100-200 miles in the canyons and mountains routinely without problems. 61 is young!

What's the Motorsport?
Motorsport is the blue/white/red color scheme.

I'm 65 going on 18! Let just say anything over 60 is an accomplishment for me.
How do the Heli bars compared to stock (grip location)? Do you need to drill holes in them to mount the grips & switches?

Congrats, when i was at bmw for service 2 weeks ago this guy rolled in on his 2017 s1000r and traded for a new RR, he looked like he had to be 70+ and i asked him why. He said he rode one at CCS and it was a rocket...Pondered why he didn't think the 165 hp R wasn't fast enough, to each his own!

congrats @groran1000. I tell you there is a lot of motivation in this forum for riding well into my "later" years. I can only hope and try to be riding SS's into that time. You have fun and be careful on that missile YOUNG MAN!

unfortunately @flyryder wasn't completely truthful................. red and white be the fastest and bestest
