Long drive for Us to, Driving with friends from Raleigh NC about 20 hours. We're taking the I20 Route, I'm thing it's going to be better then I10 route because of the flooding issues in Texas from last month. Don't forget Saturday evening dinner at the Hilton.

Yeah no rental bikes but... Last year BMW brought a fleet of demo bikes and I'm pretty sure they are going to do the same this year.

Demo bikes aren't ridden without supervision but they don't go slow either.

Last year I skipped the first few sessions (was involved with some administrative stuff with the event itself) and had to go out and figure out the race line at COTA all by myself. I was on my first sighting lap (and going slow) and the demo bike group full of RR's passed me like a freight train.

They were having a good time for sure! I loaned out a few of my extra suits so that a few people could take advantage of the demo bikes.

Hello Everyone, For those participating in the event make sure you keep yourself hydrated throughout the day, I would recommend Water through out the day, Gatorade or I prefer Pedialyte. At riders meeting have a water with you. Start the following day hydrating yourself it will make your day that much better not feeling worn down by midday. I also recommend Bananas or potassium pills throughout the day to prevent cramping.

I'll be coaching Novice group both days, Super excited to be participating in this Event. If you have any questions please PM me. I will assist with any questions you may have.

Jon Lombardo
AKA Loomis.

I just signed up for Sunday. Would love to crash your garage.

I'll bring a cooler full of Gatorade and other drinks.

Signed up for novice since I've only done a couple track days.

Looks to me Loomis like coming thru Nashville - Memphis - Little Rock - Texarcana - Dallas is more direct route..?
