I got Brembo 19x18 MC along RC racing pads. I ran before SC pads, while they're great for my slower pace in intermediate group, lasted only ~6k miles. But faded/overheated as I picked up the pace in advanced. Currently I run Vesrah SRJL-XX, and I like them.

I almost got Z04, but my friends suggested that unless I'm racing I don't need those pads. And for twice as much as anything else ($402 for a set), I decided to give RC pads a try.

I got a great deal on Brembo RC, I noticed their compound is organic, not sintered. What to expect? Yay, nay?

I run drum brakes because it's still a street bike so I don't want to put discs on it.

I run Z04 and they are excellent : consistent braking, no overheating nor dragging and quite a good life span.
On some bikes though (like my friends where some drag is experienced at the end of a session / cannot spin the wheel), when cleaning the calipers at the end of the day, one needs to remount the calipers taking care of setting the "inner pads" against the discs first (using a blank to maintain the exterior pistons before sliding in the "exterior pads" ), that solves it.

I race with RC pads and I am very happy with them. They last less than z04 but I pay for them a quarter than z04, so it's a good deal.

RCs are good. Used them for a season and they were finished. Surprisingly Metallico is doing awesome and prob better job for me at the moment. Lots of it is on how good your suspension is, track demands and riding style as well.

Do you happen to have Metallico part number and/or model? Looks like their price is comparable to Z04s.
