Should of stuck with Bridgestone. Rossi said riding on the Michellin is like going back to a 2007 bike. It does make everyone work harder on set up and a few riders are already much faster just by being on the Michellin. Interesting season ahead. Could be heaps of spills by the top riders and a few back of the pack runners get up front. Mix it up a bit.

As a Rossi fan, I was hoping michelins would help him. Lorenzo is already dialed.

You read the quote wrong, he said they were testing Michelin and the new electronics. He said the new electronics is like riding a bike from 2007. Every single rider said the Michelin rear had superior grip compared to the Bridgestone and they liked it better. The front they used at the first test caused concern cause it didn't have the grip like the Bridgestone. They have said Michelin really improved the front this test.

From memory Rossi lost the championship to Hayden in 2006 because of Michelin tires.

He's been hovering around top 3 all day. He's still got it. Lucky he aint racing or there would be some scared cats out there. He's faster than both the Ducati factory riders. Stoner can not even ride and just toy with them all.

I'd like to see him (Stoner) again in the GP paddock, preferably with Honda.

Ducati is way behind the other 2, especially in the race distance.

Remember, Dovi with overall third championship position when he was riding the third Repsol bike?? There is not much he can do with Ducati these days.
Iannone .. same story.
Remember Rossi with Ducati??
The bike will need many improvements to be in a position to compete with the 2 (Honda & Yamaha).

Stoner was a 2007 World Champion mainly because Ducati had a top speed no one could mach at the time (straight line). As soon as Honda and Yamaha developed a top speed to match, Stoner couldn't do anything in 2008, 2009, 2010 .. and we are coming to 2011 when he jumped on the Repsol and won the championship for the second time.
