Bwahahaha! Honestly, I looked at the slip-on, and the Yosh was smaller, lighter, and a LOT less expensive. and, to me at least, looked a lot better. Not that Akra doesn't make beautiful pipes, but they're too rich for my blood and Yosh does too.

2015 Taylor Made - First Production!

Yeah!!!!

After months of waiting I was able to go over to Paul's shop and see his masterpiece!

It's even better than the first generation!

The fairing was designed by Simon Murton. Simon is the creative genius behind the conceptual art used in, The Matrix, The Island, Superman, and many other Sci-Fi movies. So of course, it's going to look good!

The carbon fiber carries the lines of, and accentuates the rest of the bikes fairings.

Now bear in mind this is a first production, and the pipes and muffler have not been given a ceramic coating, so you still see the metal. But once it's been painted, it will be even more stealth.

So obviously, it looks great.
"How does it sound?", you ask.

Well, it's not much louder than stock. But it does have a much deeper tone, and still keeps all the delightful burbles and rumbles when downshifting.

Let me know if you want more pictures, or have any questions.

I personally think this is now the best looking and possibly sounding aftermarket exhaust, so if you want one, you had better call Paul quickly before he get's all back ordered.
Q~

It's not that I like going fast, I just like changing direction and velocity quickly.

wow that is very beautiful indeed. I love shorties. I'm having a hard time choosing between TM exhaust and the arrow competition evo.

what are the final "stats" on the exhaust.
weight compared to stock, and hp/tq increase compared to stock.

my god I love the way he made the carbon fiber mold with the stock belly fairing. with that alone I'd want to get this system.

hint hint a youtube video would be lovely. sound may not be exact reproduction...................but beats a blank

Taylor made are good from an appearance point of view, but that is all. Not very good performance gains compared to Akrapovic.

I have a Taylor Made on my Repsol. Not happy with it to be honest. Maybe he made a better system for the BMW's, but the one on my CBR put a bad taste in my mouth for the cost. Appearance wise, great looking system and sounds great. Always has a deep tone from their muffler design. Unfortunately the performance is never there compared to other systems.

Ensure that it looks and actually performs better then stock. Its gains very little sound and almost no power gains.

This sums up the numerous reviews I've read by owners. Additionally, I've heard that the build quality is sub par. I've got no axe to grind but just sharing what I've read/heard across multiple applications.

Perhaps this iteration will prove differently, I hope that is the case. Good luck with it, hope you continue to enjoy it.
