I always use Shell 93 octane in all of my bikes, truck, lawnmower, etc. If i'm not mistaken, Shell V-Power is recommended when using a Brentune as well.

I work for a group that sells Audi and Porsche. Both manufacturers recommend "Top Tier" fuels.

Here's the list:

Chevron 94 Octane Supreme Plus - contains no ethanol

In British Columbia, Chevron 94 Octane Supreme Plus is great because it has no ethanol. Supreme is recommended for the HP4. At sea level, really don't need 94 Octane. But I do like the extra 'power' burning Supreme Plus over Regular fuel. Many of the Chevron stations also have White Spot restaurants - a favourite to many BCers.

Here is the real problem. Get out and ride it like you stole it. BMW even highly recommends it... haha

Chevron supreme. Periodically run a little Startron through the system. Seems to work very well.
