Is this a stand alone tool or do you need to hook it up to a PC to do stuff. I only have Mac's not sure if this will work for folks like me?

I don't own one, but have seen them being used by others and the GS911 was always used in connection with either a computer (USB & bluetooth models) or smartphone (bluetooth model). I have no knowledge regarding Mac compatibility though.
