Got my kit today.

Maybe this is a silly question, but are the lights and ballast low/hi beam specific? I can't see any difference between the parts.

Since both low and high beam are the same bulb type there will not be a difference

one of my bulbs was unscrewed from the plastic casing when i opened the package. i it is seated on the backing at an angle that doesnt seem consistent with any pictures i see. im not sure if it is broken. not sure if it will even work once i install.
pls advise.

Couple questions that may have already been answered, I didn't read the thread.

Is the kit plug and play? Or is some splicing needed?

Does the kit include and use dedicated relays?

What temperature/color are the bulbs?

Yes, it is plug and play with no splicing the only modification that needs to be made relative to install as with any HID kit is you have to drill the one inch hole in the dustcap to accommodate the wiring.

You do not need relays with the HID kit for this applications, some cars/bikes maybe but the s1000rr does not have issues with our kits.
