Default 1st mx race

I had my 1st motocross race this weekend what a good time

Race one got a good gate drop (4th out of the gate) but lost the front in a rut in a turn and crashed, got the bike up and after what felt like 2 min got it started.
I was able to pull out a 9th

Race or "moto" two

Got a great start (2nd off the gate) and ended the race in 5th place I was very happy with that finish being only my 2nd motocross race, the best part was I could see the 1st - 4th place guys I could hold them in sight but could not real them in mainly because I was coming up short on the bigger jumps and they were airing them out

And what workout! Doing a 20min moto kills you

You're a brave soul. I recently bought a KTM 250SXF to ride with my son. We went to a practice night at a MX track, short story, 3 laps and I was toast. I mounted some Distanzas and now prefer to tear up the kart tracks.

Yeah I do sprint training 30 min a day and if you have ever done that type of workout you know how hard it is .... That being said a 20min moto is about 3 times as hard as that

As soon as moto one was over I slept for an hour in my truck

Awesome "cross" training. Several road race experts got or hone their skill with MX bikes.

Now you have a whole new world to conquer

Do you ever get confused and want to get your but off your seat w/you knee pointed into the turn instead of your foot?
