Was anybody at Road Atlanta this weekend?

I spent this past weekend riding at Road Atlanta and I saw at least 3 S1's on the track. 1 in Novice and 2 in Intermediate. I never got around to talking to any of them, but I wanted to see if any of them were guys from this site.

yeah I was there, on my zx10 though, riding with my friend with the green and white zx10 with the out riggers

I wasn't riding my S1 either. I was on my track bike. I rode Novice on day 1 and Intermediate on day 2.

That was me and my buddy. I was on the 08 silver/black Honda 1000rr, he was on the 10 green s1000rr. We rode novice on Saturday. That was our 1st track day ever.

I was there the weekend before on my s1000rr racing... if that counts?

That makes sense. I don't think he was hitting it very hard in the straights because I was able to keep up. I could tell he wasn't comfortable riding hard in the corners either. Kudos for getting it on the track. I hope I have the nuts one day to take it out there.

what kinda lap times you running? and what track config?

race config so ama chicane and new turn 12....all trackdays run old turn 3 and not the chicane and some run old T12(STT) but some run the new T12(nesba). I don't think the chicane adds much time but the new T12 probably adds 6-8 seconds or so...

best so far is a 1.34.2 but I have a 32 or 33 in me easy...
