Wow. What can I say. An almost perfect track day ( besides it being hot as he**) took the corner speed level 1 class, it was one phenomenal!
The quality of classroom instruction, professionalism of the cadre, one on one follows and critiques were just some of things that made this course well worth it. the lesson plan flowed flawlessly with the "hands on" track time. The whole atmosphere was that of a very professional event. I am planning to do "cornerspin" soon (road racing in the dirt)
Then came the "mock" student race. That was an experience in itself
Some other lessons learned: once I pulled the fuses that controlled the headlights, that in turn disabled then lap timer (which is controlled by the high beam / pass switch) and placed the high beam indicator on. and the tire pressure that works for me: 29 rear 31 front (conti attack)
