Default Tire Change At Track…..

What do tire changes usually cost at the track? Just trying to get a feel of what would make more economical sense down the road?

Thanks

William

In my experience, tire changes at the track are $10 per tire.

$10 off the bike. Remove/Install isn't bad at all. Just practice a little bit at home and be a little careful w/the ABS sensors. And don't loosen the left side pinch bolts on the fork.

All that said, for your first track day, don't go to the track w/tires half fried that you think/anticipate you'll need to change while you're there. Put them on ahead of time and go w/fresh tires (just scrub them in properly). Reason being, is that you will have enough going on during your first track day... worrying about swapping tires shouldn't be on the list.

you will save yourself some money if you buy the tires at the track as they usually have the best price and the tire change is free.
