What to bring to the track....?
Okay so, i have this friend, who is going to the track for his first time, and he doesn't want to forget something. Being the obvious pro that i am, i would tell him but, i don't have time.
Anyway, here is my list. Am i on track?
Trailer
Tie downs
Rear Stand
5 gallons of fuel
TP Gauge
Extension cord
food
??Tools?
Blue no tack tape
tent
gear
misc towels / absorbent towelettes
*BIKE
safety wire drain plug / oil filter / filler cap / drain coolant
?what else
Also, whats preferable water with water wetter or MoCool by motul?
Lastly, so under the suit what do you wear? I was thinking about wearing a lightweight under Armour shirt. But what pants or underwear, commando? jk

Commando! Just hope you don't crash and the EMT's have to cut you out of your leathers in that case!
Usually the Under Armor shirts work well. I prefer long sleeve as it makes it easier to get in and out of the leathers once you're all sweaty.
You mentioned an extension cord... does that mean you're taking tire warmers? If so don't forget the front stand as well.
In your tool kit, a torque wrench is always a good bet.
Plexus or other plastic polish and paper towels are great for cleaning the bugs off between sessions.
When you mention tent, are you talking about an EZ-Up? If so, bring a few extra straps to tie it down.
An ice chest with lots of liquids, plus maybe a beer or two for the end of day is always nice after the track shuts down.
And don't forget keys to the bike and any locks you use to secure it. Take spares and carry them separately from the primaries, so if you lose a bag, you've got the spares in the glove box or whatever.
Oh and one more... don't forget your bike key and the key to any locks you might use to secure the bike overnight, etc. If possible, carry spares separately from the primaries. So if you lose a bag or something, you have a spare set in the glove box or whatever.
Don't forget cash for gate fee (if required), tire changes, lunch, etc.
Nice to have a quart of oil around in case you need to add a little.
My list has grown over the years, but it sounds like you've got the basics covered pretty well.

Here's a list I came up with last year... some stuff just stays in the trailer, some stuff I pack up each time. This is for my R6 race bikes btw (axle socket). We have power at our track, so no need for a generator. As far as under type wear, I picked up the summer long sleeve Alpinestars shirt and the same type pants for under my leathers. Saves a little on the leather gathering up all the sweat and smelling sooner than later, and MUCH easier to get off! I also have a short sleeve version from Alpinestars... I messed up when I bought that... long sleeve is MUCH better.

My first full track day was last week (3rd time ever on a track). I rode out while a buddy took my stuff in his trailer.
What I took:
-Cash fo' sho'
-Textile suit over streetable clothes. Changed into 1 piece after morning briefing and changed out of 1 piece during lunch into streetable clothes.
-1 piece leathers, which included: Under armor long sleeve shirt and compression pants. Back protector/chest.
-tool box with tools
-5 gal. fuel jug
-cell phone
-spare rear tire since I was riding out to the track and have had 4 punctures in less than a year.
-plenty of water, maybe even some hot tea or coffee for the morning.
-rear stand even though I don't have tire warmers. We used it to save my spot in the garage while I was riding out to the track.
-Silencer (I was blacked flagged the last track session) ran all day with the full Leo and got blacked flagged, LOL!
-Tape to cover lenses/mirrors if required to.
Things I saw while out there. My buddy threw his chain while on the track and was looking for a spare. They let him on the track when nobody had one. He found his chain but had no spare link. So maybe a spare chain/link.
If you get your knee down, maybe some spare sliders. I don't have this problem yet .

okay another concern. Will my OEM street tires be okay? Or do i need to get a set of Piolit Pures, or do i need to let my skill level catch up to the tires?

Assume you're running the K3's on your S1?! You will be very satisfied w/those on your first day out!
Oh yeah... and as far as coolant... you'll need to check w/your local Track Day organizer to see what the rules are there. For example, here you can run what ever you want for a Trackday... not for races though. In Colorado, at HPR, I don't think they allow any Glycol based coolant even for track days... water or wetter water w/water.

so would it be a safe assumption to just go with redline and distilled water? Or MoCool and distilled water?

If your buddy is going alone, he might put contact info and keys in an envelope and tape it to his toolbox. That way, if something happens, the good Samaritans have a head start.
