Not sure about a specific track school in NC. Your best bet is to look for a school or club who has track days at VIR. I am doing California Superbike school May 16th at VIR but they don’t take first time track newbie’s. Take a look at Team Pro Motion ( TPM) they do a track days for beginners called ART classes. Its classroom work and instructor lead groups for the day. You can also look at NESBA. I believe they have a beginners orientation class. Check there web sites for VIR dates and beginners classes on those dates.

Where in NC are you located

You'll enjoy both Cornerspeed and VIR. Aaron is top notch, and the track is awesome. He also does CMP (Kershaw, SC) schools. Aside from that, I don't know of any accredited schools nearby. If you need any details on Cornerspeed, let me know. I've done Cornerspeed, Cornerspin, and I'm looking to do a Pro Riders Course day with one of Aaron's coaches this year.

Don't have any specifics, but check with the BMW Motor Sports located at the BMW assembly plant at Greenville, S.C. They have a number of schools for various bikes offered. Also check with Touring Sports BMW in Greenville. They support several racing programs and should be able to assist. Virginia is further than S.C. Good luck and enjoy.

Aaron will go over it during the classes. Basically you send a copy of your diploma and a race license application to the organization you are interested in. CCS will send you a license, and WERA will send you a provisional.

Unless their policy has changed, I did the California Superbike School when I was a track newbie. It was the best way to start riding on the track IMO.

Cornerspeed gives you a certificate that WERA or CCS accept as a racing school for a provisional novice license.
