Nobby Mike and myself are booked in with a few of our mates for this bank holiday fun.

Anyone else going?

I'm doing it next Wednesday, hoping it's dry and not too cold.

I did silverstone last saturday. Fantastic. The circuit is huge and takes all day to get the hang of. It's really wide to, so you can fly into corners and enjoy drifting wide on the exit. I've now booked Rockingham for the 3rd may. I'm told it's fun. All being well I'll book silverstone again soon.

I could be tempted - which company is organising? Getting the bitch noise tested hopefully this week so will know for sure.

Sorry meant Sunday 3rd April. It's with Focussed Events. As long as I keep it upright they have another weekend event on the 8th may. Think that's Rockingham as well, but need to check.

Doing it on Wednesday this week (23rd) if anyone else is going to be there? Need to show my zx10 riding buddy that I'll be quicker on this than I was on my '98 R1

He's got a large White van with orange 'NLC contractors' (or something) on it- come and say hello (grey s1000 track fairings, me).

Can't wait - first track day of the year.....come on the weather!!

I did Silverstone last weekend on the 750, getting to grips with the new circuit now and it just gets better.

Will be there tomorrow, black track plastics with chrome graphics, black VW transporter swb with sport line bits. Have just upgraded the quick shifter and changed the gearing, hopefully have new rear sets fitted if I have time. Have only done Silverstone arena once on the s so looking forward to it.

I recommend rockingham, one of my favourite circuits. Not necessarily best for something as fast as the srr, my 750 is perfect round it. Do the national if you can, the other config takes in some of the banked circuit and I find it a bit confided and it doesn't flow well. They also stop you overtaking on one section which is frustrating.
