Default Track Day Video w/a low-side

From this past weekend... cut a video and put something together. A number of bikes went down that day, caught one just after it happened.

(Yes - it's a rough track... short one too!)

Perfect for me and the track. There was an '08 CBR1000RR out there that I'd pay attention to because he (overall) was similar as me in lap times it seemed. He'd pull me on the straights but I'd get him in entry speed and corner speed. By the end of the day, I was catching him and able to go by him in the double apex. Extremely satisfied w/the R6. The turn-in is a bit faster than my S1 I imagine due to the weight and the race tire profile.

He's also the guy that almost stopped (shown in the video) after that low-side (~1:28)... he almost got a little extra red paint spattered upon his bike

How long is that track. Looked like fun. AND NO STOPPING on a hot track. I instruct the riders in my riders meeting to NOT stop for a falling rider, notify the next flagging station of the incident and let those guys take corrective actions. You and he are lucky that didn't turn out ugly.

It's good to hear you like the the R6 on the track. I like the fact that I have the 636 for the track and the SKRR for the streets. The guys laugh at me for rigging it up like a touring bike; GPS, double bubble screen, throttle lock, etc.

Pretty short track, for some reason I was thinking 1.2 miles, but not really sure. 'mrsantafe' likely knows (member on here). Here's a link: -- Welcome to SMRI --
