I have a question...is it not required to cover up the headlights here in the UK? I'm asking because I'm doing to track day at Snetterton on Monday.

Exactly what I was thinking, but with respect to track days on this side of the big pond. We need to go through a bizarre prehistoric ritual of taping up all the lights, the reflectors and disconnecting or taping the brake lights.

Ok here in the uk to run with lights. I think that taping up the lights is a bit 1980's

The units are plastic anyway so no glass involved!

Yes, we in the US have not figured that out yet.
