Everyone saying it should be about skill and not electronics needs to remember that those bikes are FULL of electronics.....regardless of TC. And you can still crash with traction control to be clear.
I'm all for technological advancements. One could argue that riders 30 years ago had to have more skill because their bikes were so much less advanced. I feel the tech advancements move the sport forward and force riders to develop new skills in a changing environment. Adapt or die as they say. Bottom line, you can't stop technology so you might as well embrace it and try to benefit from it.
Im fine with traction control. As stated, traction control on these bikes isn't the same as ours. Technology alone doesn't keep the rider upright during a race. Their sport is dangerous enough "with" TC.
