What are the bad points to the S1KRR on the track?
What are the bad points to the S1KRR on the track? I have the '10 model and trying to tweek it as track ready as possible. I have after market front and rear shocks. Suspension adjusted by Computrak for my weight. What is the talk about the bike on the track that needs to be corrected?

You can (and probably should) do a gear change but you will probably find the front end still comes up to much on most tracks. this is intensified if you have a quick turn throttle. But once you get use to it and re-learn throttle control its not that bad.

the stock seat has a forward slant that will give you arm and hand pump bad! not to mention it feels like you need to do a push up every time you hit the brakes to keep you from sliding over the front.
sergeant makes a nice seat, or just go to a foam seat with race plastics

Hmm! I definitely get severe hand pump but attributed that to my riding style and death grip on the bars...even though I don't really do the death grip . Didn't think seats had a role to play, but I can see how seats contribute to the problem. I take it that your situation is much better with Sargent seats?
