Default My first time on the drag results

My first time on the drag results (I've never done drag testing on a bike or a car before )
All runs were in Race mode with traction control on, rpm lauch was less than 5000 rpm while releasing the clutch gently.

best quarter mile time: 10.515 @ 241.68 km/h (150.173 mph) with 2.122 60ft

my highest speed throught the quarter mile is 243.90 km/h (151.55 mph) with a time of 10.765 and 60ft of 2.335

my results times :10.765, 10.553, 10.685, 10.515, 10.737, 10.866
my speed results km/h: 243.90, 243.13, 242.69, 241.68, 239.88, 235.41
mph: 151.55, 151.07, 150.80, 150.17, 149.05, 146.28

I'll try to lunch it harder next time, but with the BST wheels i've seen the traction control working in 3rd gear to keep the bike down LOL

maybe try being a bit more aggressive with your launches. launch at around 7000rpm, with a better 60ft time (mid to high 1's) you'd be looking to break into the 9's

Best i have done is flat 10 @ 138 mph .i weight 115 kg and have trouble with wheelies mid track,i turn traction control off
Brocks do a clutch lockup which takes the slipper out and gives better launches apparently

This bike doesn't like to launch at higher rpm's. clutch gets grabby and then lofts the front wheel abruptly...

Rev to 4k rpm and do an aggressive street launch seems to net the best results in my experience...

This is of course without any dtc as my bike has none of that. Can't imagine dtc would change the clutch being grabby though?

turn off ABS and DTC, do a little burnout to clean up the tire, drop the pressure to 20 psi. launch at 7k at least and slip the clutch. when at the line, put your feet out/back and lean your stomach on the tank to put all your weight on the front tire to keep it down.

with some practice you should be able to get 1.7 60' at least and get yourself well into the 9's.

you can also get a brock's front end strap that helps a LOT, it doesnt hinder any daily driveability but when you get to the track you can tighten the strap and help keep the front down.

good luck man!

p.s. i launched the bike at redline to get my 1.5 60'

you dont have to but it would help a lot!
you can buy the brocks adjustable rear links and it will take 5 mins to raise/lower the rear for the track if you wanted to.
