Josh Hayes to sit in for Colin Edwards
Hey Folks, One of my favorite riders Josh Hayes will take over Colin Edwards this weekend at Valencia. Do you think he will manage to pull off a good race? will he be able to handle the motogp Yamaha? what are your thoughts?

Given the immense differences between the AMA spec Superbike he rides and the Moto GP bikes, I think he will be lucky to not be last... He's a decent rider, but he's no Ben Spies and look at how Spies is struggling at the very top of the sport.

No he will be lucky to come in top 20 MOTO GP is the best of the best, Hayes is a great rider but he is vastly outmatched in that group.

But who can blame him for doing it, would any one of us turn down such an opportunity. hell I would get lapped twice by the rest of the grid in my first lap but for anyone not already on that grid its the chance of a lifetime.

Right about Spies. He is struggling like crazy and if he does'nt up his game he will be replaced. Poor Josh, I guess he is in over his head.

Hell YES!!!! If I had the chance I would ride that Moto GP Bike... I would get lapped 5 times during the race, but WTH... I would KILL to ride on of thoose Bikes (although I would really like the previous gen 990cc GP Bikes even better... total BEAST!)...

WHAT? I don’t think Yamaha would ever replace Ben, (not when he is riding top 10 in GP) this is his 2nd full year in GP and he is a one year champion in WSBK the guy can ride! and there is no bought about his ability… I’m think you used the wrong analogy.. maybe Nicky or Collin may be in jeopardy of their jobs but no way in hell is Ben

Ben is tallented no doubt but when you see him on the same bike as Jorge Lorenzo way back on the points he seems to fade out. I am biased.
