That's next Tuesday. Was there anything going on this Tuesday? I was thinking there was, but maybe it's just that I was planning on riding to work tomorrow.

Washed & waxed the bike today anyway.

I put 300+ miles on my bike today When up to Roosevelt Lake and around. Does that count?

Chris "Teach" McNeil performing stunts on a BMW S1000RR at Iron Horse Motorcycles Ultimate Event in Tucson, Arizona on 6 April 2010.

Got some pics up on facebook too.

I swear I'm not flaky. Late, yeah. Unless it's critical I'm on time or I'm the organizer of the event. But not flaky.

Me & my friend Will went to the only Chuy's he knew of, on Speedway. And there were no bikes there. So we just headed to the bar my exgirlfriend works at to catch up a little with her. And then I made the ride home through the painfully frigid desert (because I was unprepared with warm clothes) and got 3 hours of sleep, opening my eyes to my clock this morning to see that I usually leave the house in three minutes.

When I walked into the dealership I immediately heard a guy in overalls telling another guy that he thinks the Sierra Vista guy just got here, and the other guy saying something along the lines of, "Now?!" with a sound like he was amazed at how late I was, haha. I didn't know who they were, and a few minutes later I thought you left after your brief exhaust demo, so Will & I just tried to lay low, looked around, and talked bikes.

Until a guy in a helmet seemingly eye-balled the hell out of me from a few feet away. So I was wondering what was going on, since I hadn't thought I had done anything to draw attention to myself. I was thinking it was work related and expecting the worst, but nothing was happening. So I thought I'd speed along the foreplay and see how this was going to go, so I threw out an, "Awwwwwwwwkward." And then got a, "Hey! I'm Steve!" and a handshake.

Sweet. A new friend instead of another broken nose. Double win!

But yeah, we went to the wrong one. I've never been to any Chuy's, and Will just moved down there to kick in his free gubmint tuition, and I know Tucson pretty roughly from UofA and a year & a half of dating a Tucson girl.

I'll be up there again pretty soon. Maybe Thursday/Friday, but not too highly probable. I'll probably be going back to Phoenix since my wiring harness for LED indicators shipped to that address instead of the one down here. We can ride, meet up, or just about whatever.

LOL, right on. You missed a pretty good time though. Did you get to see any of Chris "Teach" McNeil's stuff? Pretty impressive considering he just got the bike! Really cool guy to talk to as well. Also got to ride up Mt Lemmon with Nate Kern which was pretty cool. Chris Peris is always cool to talk with. Did you get to see his bike before they had to get it back on the trailer?

BTW, Tuesday bike is at the 6310 E Tanque Verde Rd (Pima & Tanque Verde) Chuy's. The easiest way for you to get there from SV is just exit at Kolb and follow it down to Tanque Verde and turn left.
