i'm in san diego ... got mine home last friday. immediately pulled the passenger pegs off, gave it a wax, and installed
a 'tank slapper'. got a color matched seat hump and dark windscreen
coming. this thing is stunning in person. the 9k rev ceiling is going
to be a little limiting ... it really wants to spin.

thinking about the rear stand ... the BMW unit is nice as it lifts the bike less
than an inch ... i have an aftermarket that puts maybe 3 inches under
the tire.

also thinking about a reach-adjustable clutch. the stock lever appears
to be a little long for me. guess i'll see if i can live with it for a while.
does anyone know if the aftermarket units have all the clutch-switch
doodads that the electronics require?

I am in Orange County and expecting my bike the end of this week. I got the Thunder Grey with ABS, Shift Assist and TC. The wait has been tough now that so many others have theirs.

Harbor Freight sells a very nice aluminum stand that lifts only an inch or so for $50. - Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

Many people prefer a higher lift for ease of using tire warmers at the track.

Bah!

Mine may not be here until May/June as "It's in production." Some slow-up on the assembly line maybe? No big rush though as it still snowy up in Northern CA where I ordered it from (I'm in So. Ca. fwiw.).
