So Ca Ride Wed. 1/11/12

Anyone want to go? We're headed to the Ortega Highway, Palomar Mountain and Borrego Springs for lunch. Leaving at 08:30 from the Mobil Station at 16001 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 (Beach & Edinger, just south of the 405). Just two going so far.

You must be starting pretty early if your getting to all of that before lunch.

Leaving the Mobil at 8:30, should be at Carlee's Place in Borrego Springs somewhere between 12:30 - 1:00. Although I'll leave home aroung 6am to make the 110 mile ride the the Mobil station. Wanna go?

Don't think I can make it that far, bad knees. It ain't fair gettin' old.

I can get to ortega and I'm OK but by the time I get to palomar I'm half crippled and can't take the curves properly because I can't shift my weight back and forth to hang off.

I hear ya on the getting old! I can get my Senior discount at Denny's We can pick you up on the way by so you can ride the Ortega with us.

We were paying the check by 12:10 and rode a total of 546 miles for the day, weather was perfect.

Damn! sounds like a long ride! I would have been in pain for sure!
My GF had the day off so I was kinda tied up but maybe next time...
