Default Moving back home to Atlanta area soon!!!

My wife and I are moving back to Atlanta area very soon and we will be living in Conyers, GA. I think the nearest BMW Cycle dealer to me is Blue Moon off Jimmy Carter Blvd. Moving back home is going to be a big change compared to living in New Jersey, especially the weather. I'd like to have fellow S 1000 RR enthusiaist to ride with when I get back. Please PM me or post on this thread to let me know where everyone meets there.

Congrats on moving back to Atl. Try BMW/Ducati of Atl. They have the best mechanics. Lots of fun things to do and see. They have some big bike nights and great riding north of town.

Thanks for the information. Where are they located? I'm moving to the Conyers area off I20.

They're in Smyrna on 41 near the end of the Dobbins runway, so Blue Moon will probably be closest for you.

We're finally back home in the Atlanta area now. Where does everyone hang out to show off their bikes on the weekends? I keep hearing about all these big bike meets on weekends since I've been here.

There's Thursday bike nights: 1st thursday of month there's a big car/bike "drive-in" at the Varsity downtown. Every Thursday is a bike night at the Little 5-points Vortex. Honestly, I'm tired of this "scene."

Every 1st Sunday there's the "Caffiene and Octane" drive-in in Alpharetta. Mostly cars at this thing. All the rich folks come out to this one bringing Lambos, Ferraris, 1300 hp Vettes and Vipers, etc.

Weekends are usually reserved for backroad/mountain shenanigans.

Are you hanging out with Shane McCoy up there? I know he's working with Chuck Graves and the Yamaha team (any relation?) If so, tell him Ken said Hi and I look forward to coming up to hang out soon.

Thanks for the information, because we've been gone for over six years and have no idea where everyone hangs out now.
