I really enjoy this forum and think it's the ONLY forum for S1000rr owners but...charging $2.99 for an app to access this forum (and this forum only) from smart phones is not a good look for you guys...in my opinion.

I've never seen or heard of a forum charging for access to their content! I'm part of many other forums that have enabled Tapatalk or have native applications that are downloadable for free. The convenience of accessing this forum from a smart phone shouldn't come at a premium....it comes across as a greedy attempt at squeezing maximum revenue from it's user base rather than it's advertisers etc...

Hope it's cool for me to voice my opinion on this matter! I'll probably end up downloading the app after all but felt the need to say this...

Thanks for your feedback. The motorcycle.com app will allow you to browse ALL of our sites on the motorcycle.com network. We just launched it recently so not all the sites have been activated yet but it will be in due time.

I think the $2.99 price is fair at this point considering that the app allows you to view the site ads-free and the effort we put into developing the app. At the end of the day, this site is still 100% FREE to access without this app so there's a a trade off to using the app and not using it. Isn't that what life is all about anyways? Hope you continue to enjoy this site and feel free to share your feedback with us!

I won't buy it. I use TapTalk to access forums 'ad-free' so I won't pay for another program to visit just this forum. You could have saved yourself the money and just enabled TapTalk. Sure, people won't see your ads on there, but they will eventually visit the site from home. I don't see the ads when I'm on here at work either...which is 99% of the time I'm on this forum.

I bit the bullet and got the app. I looks exactly like Tapatalk and so far works good. Too bad I had to pay $3 for an app that is no different than Tapatalk.

I save the Forum under bookmarks, for a quick Ref for anything I may need to look up. If the bookmark quits working. I'll buy the app but yes I wish the forum would work under TapTak. I have 3 other forum for taptak does not make much sence to me I have a use a different app.

I use my iphone more than my computer for browsing this forum but having paid for a 12 month premium membership I don't feel I should have to fork out more money. I was happy to pay for premium membership because it's a great forum and I believe that the forum users should contribute to the running costs but surely those who have paid a subscription fee should be able to download this app free of further charge?
