Default Bmw 600

The dealer I bought my S1000RR from said that they have a 600 bike in the works! Has anybody else heard this? If so any spy photos yet?

Yeah I've heard 3 rumours. An i4 600, an i3 675, and an i3 750 (1 cylinder lobbed off). Obviously they are not all accurate rumours, more like people's hopes. I believe BMW looked into a middle weight, but ruled it out due to the bottom line - not as profitable/return on investment.

Yea. What he said.

They stated not enough margin in the 600 class sportbike. Doesn't mean they won't. But probably not any time soon.

they're scraping on the 1000, the 600 isn't really much (if any) cheaper for them to build, but sale price is less. The product owner said the 600 was ruled out accordingly. If volume and scale bring the economics in line, I could see this happening, especially as the even BMW is surprised by how successful the S1K has been....

I'd love to see a 3cyl - 750cc, I'd trade my 1000 for one in a second.
