Default Ads

I have never been to a site with so many ads!!! Greatly decreases download time, even on Comcast cable. I would recommend a less invasive ad campaign to increase volume and revenues. 20 ads per page is just overwhelming!!!! Try 5 ads per page that are well paced with relevant content.

I'm all for supporting the site, but you can run ad-block.

I believe that I saw something that would delete ads. I am purchasing my bike this Thursday and I have already bought the Evoluzione license plate kit. I hate surfing through all of the clutter to find content. I can't even find where to post a comment!

One way to get around the ADs is to pay and become a member... I paid... and hell I'm one of the Mods ... I don't get any of the ADs in the middle of the page... And FWIW... I have no interest (literally) whether anyone buys a membership... like I said, I paid full price too!

I don't mind paying, but if I did decide to pay, I don't want to see any ads except from legit site sponsors. Sponsors who have products that can be used on my bike. It is hard to see through all of the ads and find good content. Even to reply to this post I had to scroll down to find the reply box because of all of the ads. When I view this site with my IPad it is very challenging to try and figure out what is going on through all of the ads! Will I click any of the ads??? No, I don't click ads on sites. Instead, I do a search and go to the site directly to avoid adware or spyware. So, please consider the user when planning the site layout and advertising. I really like the content, but it is difficult to navigate the clutter.

Thanks for putting the site together and listening to my complaints.

That is a totally cool program! I am running Google Chrome and there is an extension there as well. Works like a charm!

Here is the reply box where it should be.

The Moderators (me included) only "moderate" the site... in other words, when there's SPAM, posts are put in the wrong spot, threads become derogatory, etc... we take care of that stuff. The design, Ads, and all that are handled by the Site Owners - Motorcycle.com (user name = Administrator). The Moderators on this site anyway, have no affiliation w/Motorcycle.com and volunteer their time to help make the site a good one to visit.
