Default Supporting Vendors section

How come "Riders Discount" has their own tab and all the other supporting vendors are all thrown into "Vendor Deals and Specials"?

It sure would be nice if you could divide them all out so it's easier to follow what each vendor is offering.

Think it may have to do w/how much they pay and/or how many sites they pay it on.

I hear ya man... it would make it easier, no doubt. I'm sure it all has to do with how Motorcycle.com manages the tons of forums they have. It is a business for them after all.

Yes go look at their other forums.

As many sponsors as they can pack in.

Anyone that will pay the monthly fee.

Hi,

There are VENDORS and SITE SPONSORS. Two different groups with different permissions.

Question.

If you post in the Vendors or Sponsors area and they do not like your post as it questions something, they can delete it?

I believe that if you post in a specific Sponsors area, they have full edit capability to clean things up if they head South for some reason... or they feel something didn't contribute to the intent of their thread.

.

Think of S10000RR like a Big Hotel, With a Bunch of different rooms.

The General Forum is like Lobby/Bar area, where many guest come to hang out and socialize. Kinda like they do here.

And the DIY Forum is like the Front Desk where you get all your technical information.

Well the Sponsor Forum is like their Own Personal Room.
Where That Sponsor can sort of say, and do pretty much what they want.
And if wander up into their room all drunk from too much liquor in the bar area, and start Puking up all over their floor, they are going to throw you out of their room.

So, you just have to find another room to go throw up in.
