I'm glad folks are figuring out the restrictions in place, etc. It is definitely unfortunate that the site has had to do this - so apologies for the inconvenience. But as those that have been around here can attest to... the amount of SPAMMERS we'd get every day has gone from a significant amount to about 1 every week it seems. Which makes the Board overall more enjoyable and certainly makes the Moderators life easier (less clean up).
