180 HP is really good, congrats
By the way, there is no way your bike would do 166 before
I think the tuner has lowered the before HP so you think you got a big difference

Dyno wars and discussion happen on every internet motorsports forum.

Dyno is a tool, nothing else. Settings vary on each dyno, each day.

The change from start to finish is the only thing that makes any difference.
But for one guy to tune 14whp with no other changes made- well that seems more than what the PCV can do.

True

I had two different s1000rr. The two with heavy cranckshaft (jully 2010 and 2011 models).

The Dyno tuner where I go has dozens s1000rr charts on his computer not counting my two different bikes.

I have never seen a S1000RR with only 166 HP ; but again dyno curves can be easily tweaked.

With the new cranckshaft, 100% stock bikes would be around 173 to 183, I would say, depending on the dyno, conditions, etc.

166 RWHP or 190 RWHP are just not realistic numbers (for the 2nd gen s1000rr).

But don't forget that 180 RWHP is great ;-)

The Dyno records the roller rotation system and depending on it, estimates RWHP and cranckshaft HP.

Why don't we use the roller HP for the measurements as it's more accurate ?
