Default Anyone use a Cordona quickshifter??

Cordona - Race use only!

My tuner says that the std BMW q/s is fine for hard road use but not up to sustained race use. He says Superstock guys use a Cordona.

Anyone got any feedback on these?

Thanks

Absolutely brilliant! With the dedicated S1000rr wiring loom it is an easy installation, totally separate to bike's ecu.Adjustable for kill time and also gearlever pre-load.Instantly cured my high rpm gearchanges.

I think you will find,in Superstock, they have to use it.Also,at that level, they would ensure everything in the 'box was 100%,quickshifter would be changed if there were issues. As in other threads-some of these give problems, lots don't.If you do have problems, try getting the dealer to do something about it!

The shifting on my April 2010 bike is faultless, however my July 2010 bike would not shift from 5th to 6th consistently above 12000rpm-the Cordona Quickshifter cured this immediately.

I've heard that this G.P shift setup provides a more positive action than the stock configuration .often eliminating Q.S problems.
I'm really happy with my Sato rearsets but my stock Q.S has never been a problem as long as I don't use it at low r.p.m's (as it stutters and changes slowly.
