Default bike is DOA

went for my 3rd ride the other day, about 50 miles in I felt the bike just wasnt right. I pointed the nose for home and then noticed that when I pulled in the clutch at highway speed she died. let out the clutch and she fired back up so I babied her towards home. Got about 5 miles from the house and she shut down at 65mph like someone turned off the key. now she wont fire at all. turn the key on and can hear the fuel pump, hit the start button and I get the lights diimming and a click of the starter and no joy. calling the dealer in the morning.

Have you tested the battery, or its connections?

thought the battery also, checked it seemed suspect.
v=12.6, key on v=12.3 hit starter v drops to 8.6-9 figured this was a battery that wouldnt handle a load

ordered a new one, no joy new battery arrived last night, does the exact same thing, also used a jumper and grounded battery to frame to check if a grounding issue, no joy.
when purchased bike had PCV and akro so need to try removing the PCV from the equation and see if that changes anything

Check your starter wire! When mine was new within about 100 miles the bolt rattled out of the starter and the cable was bouncing on and off the connection causing the same problem you are having. I pulled the seat and tank off and you can see the connection directly in the middle of the bike on the top of the motor. I used loctite on the bolt this time.
