Default what is the cost of the HP ecu and where to get?

can it be bought without the exhaust?

Yes, but it would be quite useless. Why would you want it?

It's approx $1500 USD from your dealer.

Called the San Diego BMW and it was a LOT more than 1500. The activation code alone is close to 2g's and is only good for 30 days. Theres also the calibration tool as well. When I priced it out with the exhaust it was close to 7k and they recommended you build the head as well so add another 4k to that plus labor. There seem to be a bunch of prices going around for this unit which is why I called in the first place to get it straight and thats what I was told. The dealer doesnt know anything about the unit and all the extras that are needed to make it work. Call San Diego BMW if your interested and they can break it down piece by piece
