Default Thoughts/Opinions on levers

I know, I know, I know. This is one of those topics that has been covered time and time again. I'm asking now due to new levers coming out over this past year. I'm contemplating price vs quality. I'm still not tracking my bike so the levers are strictly for street. These are what I'm considering (Shorties if possible):

1. CRG R/C Spec Levers
2. Gilles
3. Pazzo's (Though I haven't heard/read many good things)
4. JPR's (New post here on the forum)

I think I'm par for the course with a lot of guys on here. Being on the track for many years, I use one or two fingers(depending on how strong my coffee is that morning) to break and 4 for the clutch. Thus why I'm lookin for shorties, long levers annoy the piss outta me.

Any input fellas?

I'm sure 90% of the replies will be of whatever the commenter has on his bike. The best honest advice I could give is get what you like best. If you could, test the feel, look and durability to your liking. Some levers are shorter than others and some have more adjustability. Also look at available colors. You can't go wrong unless you go cheap.... I have CRG levers and I like them alot. Never tried the Pazzos but I hear they are over-rated.

Capecod, I am considering new levers as well as the stock clutch is not adjustable...I tend to use two fingers when clutching and braking and the clutch lever always seems to dig into the fingers I leave on the grip. I had pazzo shorties on my CBR600RR and really liked them over the stock ones however, my last bike (Daytona 675) was comfortable enough stock. I am curious to see if anyone has had any experience with the JPR's as well.

The JPR's don't actually look all that bad. I have a fear with them though. I'm a firm believer that you ALWAYS want to invest in good levers, regardless of what price they are. If you have nasty levers, you're going to be miserable riding. Naturally price doesn't always dictate the quality of product you get but frankly, I've never been disappointed with the higher end products. I am definitely curious about these JPR's. I have a feeling though I may end up with the Gilles or CRG's.

Can't go wrong with CRG's or Gilles. I run CRG's on my track bike. I've tried eBay ones, pazzo, and ASV's and these have been by far my favorites. CRG's are pretty nice also. My buddy runs those.

I do like the CRG's. My mind is telling me to go with the Gilles though only cause they are specifically made JUST for the S1. German company for a German bike...just have to look and see if the Gilles come in a shorty

The Gilles are a very nice lever. Have not seen them in a shorty.
Here is another option EVO 2&3 folding levers not shortys but length is adjustable.
I know there are a few members on here with them now.

I really like the look of the evo's. I'm just afraid that if I get em, they may end up being longer than what I want. Thanks though Senator. They are definitely a serious option.

Cool. If of interest I can take a pic of the standard lever laid against them. To see the actual length difference. I have them lying around somewhere.
