Default Rear sets arrived...

Just wanted to thank you guys for giving good aspects on the available rear sets for this sexy lady.

I was on the porch smokin a butt and drinkin a bud when the fedex guy pulled up. I swear I teleported to the truck door, grabbed the box and signed before he had a chance to swing around out of his seat

I ordered the attack's and I couldn't be happier with them. They are made with such great quality, are wicked solid (not flimsy) and have grips on the peg that would keep flipper aboard.

Took me a little while to install but being an EFF'N lunchbox and fighting this heat, I deserve to take my time. Yes, I stopped drinking to ensure the install went correctly. After the install was complete, I had my girl come out and made sure the break light was still working lol.

Kuddos to Attack for making this a no brainer install. I can't wait to try these babies out but seeing as I just POUNDED two buds...gonna probably be tomorrow because there's more to follow these two!

Again, thanks guy for pointing me in this direction. This forum has been a HUGE help for me and making this bike my pride and joy.

Congrats! Solid choice; did the same. You may have a little fine tuning with the quick-shift if it is stiff on the up-shift, but do not despair. Easy to adjust. Enjoy.

Man that was quick! My attacks were on back order for 6 weeks..then another 3-5 days for shipping. Have fun with them, again, they are great!

Oh, i rode with the normal shift pattern for about a month then decided to switch to GP Shifting...couldn't be happier! Although, I do have two other bikes and I sometimes forget to shift "normally" on my FZ8. Not a cool experience thinking your are in first but actually in 6th at a light... lol

I ordered mine from indysuperbike, fast and the cheapest of all the sites, no back order here. Took me about 30 mins for install but only because I'm an idiot lol

I ordered mine form indysuperbike as well...this was back in late April/early May. There was a back order on the black Attacks...it sucked, however, since I waited almost 5 weeks for my S1K to arrive the time wasn't too bad.

Enjoy them man!

Rag, I took pics but you can't really see due to the lighting. I will take better pics out in the sun today. It's supposed to be PERFECT out so my fatty self won't be sweating like a pig just taking pics lol

Mhhhmmm man they sure do look good. waiting to hear what your thoughts are on them as far as ergos, compared to stock.

(my right leg, the jeans always seem to bunch up behind my knee, maybe its the boots i wear. but im thinking new rearsets might fix that......sorry random thought out loud)

Rag, that's what this place is for. I've been helped by the guys on here for quite a few issues.

As far as these sets go, I LOVE EM. had to ride around the block a couple times to find the right fit but you can't beat these. The grip on the pegs are insane. I think if the bike went down, ur boot would come off of your foot lol. Seriously though, there's no slide on these compared to stock.

The ability to adjust the pegs and get the right distance and foot angle is HUGE for me. I'm only 6'2 but the stock set made my right hip and knees hurt after a half hour. These let me push the pegs back and have more of a forward lean (which is 10x more comfy) when riding.
