Default Attack "chameleon" rearsets

Got my set of Attack rearsets a few days ago.

I did not want them in Black, so I ordered a so-called GOLD version. But in fact the rearsets are not actually GOLD, they're not definitely BRONZE and they're not even TITANIUM color! The color Attack applied for production is amazing and very specific: under different sorces of light, your eyes (and mind) receives different color impressions. The rearsets are simply a chameleon among the foot controls!

This is how RidersDiscount saw them:

And here are some photos of the rearsets I "saw" through my camera

I saw a set of these (same color) on a yellow bike this past weekend, it reminded of a phrase I heard from a movie: Hot-sick, that + throw-up.

Beige?
I had a 2005 ZX6-R in 'Raw Titanium Matt' and it looked just like those. I some lights it looked gold, others silver, others champagne. Always wished I'd held out for a green one.

Are you sure you didn't just get a different color?

I had this idea when I opened the parcel in my basement with poor light: the rearsets looked so different from the photos I saw, they were more golden than titanium. But when I brought the rearsets outside, the color got closer to the Titanium/Bronze, and that was an interesting experience.

are there any doubts about Attack's quality consistency producing the rearsets in this color?

Anodizing can be difficult to match from batch to batch and with some manufacturers the difference is night and day. That said the Attack gold color (looks more of a titanium than a yellow gold) has been quite consistent.

We have 25 sets of gold Attack rearsets (for different make and models and definitely different batches) and they are all quite close. Again unless they are in the same anodizing batch there might be a shade or two difference.

Lighting is a bit different however this pic looks close to your picture on the far right.

Thanks RidersDiscount for comments, which brought my confidence back! No more doubts for me about the Attack's quality.
