Default Guys what's next on the engine side ?

Hi guys

I have installed a PCv and also a full Akra exhaust without CAT of course.

The bike is working like a beast and I just love it. However as I use it mainly in the track I was wondering if something else can be done yo enhance the experience, power, reliability etc.

Anything that you guys have changed in the engine yo better improve it ?

Cheers
Emmanuel

I think you've done the main ones. Anything else would compromise reliability potentially and only offer neglible gains for v significant outlay. Look at Superstock bikes - after the mods you've done changes are usually made to the suspension and thats about it.

So i'd say just keep it the way you have it and enjoy the hardest charging superbike on the planet

your going to go a lot faster around the track by putting your money into suspension and wheels than engine parts.

I assume you've had it dyno'd and mapped.

Air filter, not much gain if any.

Gear it down (unless your local track is a very big one).

You should start reducing weight if you can afford it....to keep it reliable and give the same effect as adding power.

Lighter wheels, lighter tires, lighter brake components, Ohlins never hurt...

Or mess around with with the gearing to give you the effect of more power at the expense of less top speed.

Nitrous, Twin Turbo, and then more chrome and an extended swingarm. Then probably add some more chrome.

Pistal now makes pistons for the S1000RR. Im sure they are lighter and stronger. Dont know compression but gasket thickness can help adjust too.

From their catalog: S 1000 RR: A 2204A000 80,00 mm 219 g € 1 .100,00 ( $1,595 retail)

The DucShop in Atlanta is a dealer for Pistal Racing.
