Default AP rearset question

The installation guide makes no reference to reusing the lever return spring on the rear brake, and a call to AP resulted in them stating it was not necessary.

Can someone confirm this?

Also, odd that the ABS version has no rear brake light switch - it must sense pressure in the line to activate the light - very cool.

TIA

About 500 miles on my set without the spring and zero issues

Confirmed I have ABS and did not need to use the spring that the rearsets comes with.
